## About Melon.Co Games Atelier journey
A small indie game atelier founded by Shere Khan (a.k.a. Karas), after more than 15 years working in the video game industry.
My journey started in 2008 as a Gambling Regulatory Auditor for the Casino de Palermo under Argentina's National Lottery authority, eventually transitioning into the video game industry and becoming part of the development and management team behind AtlantisRO, one of the longest-running Ragnarok Online private servers, with more than 20 years of history.
I have been part of this journey for over 15 years, working with both rAthena and Hercules emulator environments.
Throughout the years, I have worked across different areas of game development, from infrastructure management and server architecture to production, project management, game design support, pixel art and narrative development.
I was also part of Zenkutsu Studios as Game Producer and Senior Advisor, contributing to projects such as Fate Collectors and Mr. Lagoo, while supporting development teams through technical direction, production workflows, pixel art creation and screenwriting.
My passion for game design also led me into research and education. I became certified as a Gamification Designer by Gamification World Academy and as a Serious Game Designer by SEGAN, while studying Transmedia Design and exploring how interactive experiences can connect different forms of storytelling.
Beyond game production, I contributed to the growth of the game development community as Infrastructure Manager and Scientific Organizing Committee member for the Video Games Track of ArgenCon 2016, organized by the IEEE Games Technical Committee R9.
During this time, I participated as moderator in academic industry panels about the Argentine video game ecosystem, authored a research paper about gamification in education, and led a research survey about worldwide video game degree curriculum frameworks.
Throughout my career, I have also collaborated as an advisor with studios such as Widow Games and Planeta Guru (an ITBAF's game industry business unit), supporting projects with production insights, technical guidance and strategic direction.
Today, Melon.Co Games Atelier represents a return to creating my own games and sharing small experiences crafted with passion, curiosity and a love for playful worlds.
